Day to Day Itinerary
DAY 1 ISLAMABAD
Arrival & transfer to hotel. After freshening up, we will take you on a city tour of Islamabad.
DAY 2 - ISLAMABAD
Full day tour of Taxila & Rawalpindi
Day 3 - ISLAMABAD - SWAT
Islamabad - Saidu Sharif Swat; 245kms / 3.4 hours'drive
Drive to Saidu Sharif Swat. En-route visit Shingardar Stupa, Amluk Dara Stupa, and Najigram Stupa. After lunch visit Swat Museum & Butkara.
DAY 4 - SWAT
Day at leisure with short excursions around Swat
Option to visit the artisans workshops run by the Swat Valley Guild (This will be an additional cost). Approximately £130, which would include lunch & a half day visit to see them do their weaving and have a go at it.
DAY 5 - SWAT - TAKHT-E-BHAI - PESHAWAR
Saidu Sharif-Takht-e-bhao: 120kms / 2.5 hours drive
Takht-e-bhai - Peshawar: 65kms / 1.5 hours drive
After breakfast drive to Peshawar. En-route visit the ostentatious structure and imposing relics of the Buddhist monastery in Takht-i-Bhai. Then drive to Peshawar.
DAY 6 PESHAWAR - ISLAMABAD
Peshawar - Islamabad 185kms / 2.5 hours drive
In the morning visit places of interest in Peshawar, in the afternoon drive to Islamabad.
DAY-7 ISLAMABAD-ROHTAS FORT-FAISALABAD
Islamabad- Rohtas Fort: 110 kms/2 hours’ drive
Rohtas Fort – Faisalabad: 265 kms/4.5 hours’ drive
Drive to Rohtas Fort in Dina. Then drive to Faisalabad
DAY-8 FAISALABAD – MULTAN
Faisalabad-Multan: 250 kms/4 hours’ drive
Drive from Faisalabad to Multan. After short rest visit Damdama, the shrines of Sheikh Baha-ud-din Zakriya, Shah Shams Tabriz and Shah Rukn-e-Alam in Multan.
DAY-9 MULTAN – DERAWART FORT-BAHAWALPUR
Multan- Derawar Fort: 200 kms/3 hours’ drive
Derawar Fort-Bahawalpur: 96 kms/2 hours’ drive
In the morning visit Derawar Fort. Then drive back to Bahawalpur. In the afternoon visit Noor Mahal & Darbar Mahal.
DAY-10 BAHAWALPUR-UCH SHARIF-MULTAN
Bahawalpur-Uch Sharif: 78 kms/ 8 hours’ drive
Uch Sharif- Multan: 130 kms/1.5 hours’ drive
Drive to Multan visiting Uch Sharif archaeological sites on the way.
DAY-11 MULTAN– HARAPPA- LAHORE
Multan-Harappa: 160 kms /2.5 hours’ drive
Harappa - Lahore: 196 kms/3.5 hours’ drive
Drive to Lahore from Multan visiting Harappa archaeological site on the way. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
DAY-12 LAHORE
Full day city tour of Lahore including flag ceremony at Pakistan-India border.
Evening Meal at 'The Poet', a dining experience like no other.
DAY-13 LAHORE
Full day city tour of Lahore, enjoying local markets and the street food.
Evening meal at The Haveli' an authentic experience overlooking the Badshahi Mosque.
DAY 14 - DEPARTURE
