daily itinerary
DAY 1 ISLAMABAD
Arrival at the Islamabad International Airport, transfer to hotel. City tour of Islamabad.
DAY 2 ISLAMABAD - NARAN / BESHAM
9 hour drive, with several scenic stops & visit to Jeel Saif ul Malook.
DAY 3 NARAN / BESHAM - GILGIT
Another day of driving around 9 hours, you will notice the terrain change from green trees to more bare, snow capped mountains.
DAY 4 GILGIT - KARIMABAD
The morning will comprise of visiting the local bazaar, Chinar Bagh & the longest suspension bridge. In the afternoon will make your way to Karaimabad via Rakaposhi View point.
DAY 5 ALTIT - KARIMABAD - DUIKER
Today you will visit the restored Baltit Fort, Altit Fort & a women's workshop where they make wooden furniture.
DAY 06- KARIMABAD – GULMIT – PASSU – KARIMABAD:
The days highights will be visiting Attabad Lake, local women weaving carpets & Moksha Cafe, which overlooks the Passu Cones.
DAY 7 KARIMABAD - NAGAR VALLEY - GILGIT
Today's highlights will include a visit to Hopper Valley & a visit to Ganesh Heritage Village, one of the oldest settlements of Hunza.
DAY 8 GIGLT
A leisurely day spent in Gilgit
DAY 9 GILGIT - SHANGLA PASS - SWAT
After breakfast, we will have an adventurous drive on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) which parallels the Indus River and head about 8 to 9 hours towards Besham. After tea at Besham we shall leave the Indus and KKH continue climbing towards Shangla Pass that separates Swat district from Indus Kohistan. After a three hours scenic drive through steeply terraced hills and pine forests we reach the fertile valley of Swat.
DAY 10 & 11 SWAT
A couple of relaxing days in Swat visiting Mingora Bazar, White Palace and a workshop in the Swat Valley Guild.
DAY 12 SWAT - TAKHT-I-BAHI - PESHAWAR
Depart Swat and drive to Peshawar, en route stop at Takht-i-Bahi, “Throne of the water spring” an Indo-Parthian archaeological site of an ancient Buddhist monastery in Mardan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
A visit to to the Food Street in Peshawar in the evening, will be another highlight
DAY 13 PESHAWAR - ISLAMABAD
The day will be spent doing a walking city tour of Peshawar learning about the incredible history behind Sethi Mohalla, Clock Tower & Kissa Khwani Bazar.
Day 14 ISLAMABAD
The day will be spent exploring the city of Islamabad with a farewell dinnre in Monal hilltop, which offers a panaromic view of Islamabad.
DAY 15 TRANSFER TO AIRPORTS

- May, June. Middle of August, September & October.
- I avoid July & August as domestic tourism is at its peak & the North can get congested.

Tours will operate based on a minimum of 4 people.
Should we not get these numbers the deposit will be fully refundable or offered as a private tour with an adjusted price based on this.
