Islamabad - Taxila 32kms / 45 minutes drive
Taxila - Naran: 225 kms/ 5.5 hours’ drive
Drive to Naran visiting Taxila en-route.
DAY 3 - NARAN
Visit Jeel Saif - ul - Malook
DAY 4 - NARAN – FAIRY MEADOWS
Naran – Raikot Bridge: 155kms / 4.5 hours drive
Raikot Bridge – Tato: 12kms / 1.5 hours drive
Tato – Fairy Meadows: 9kms / 2-3 hours’ hike
DAY 5 - FAIRY MEADOWS
Beyal Camp: 3500m / 11650F
Nanga Parbat Base Camp: 4000m / 13135F
Option to hike or just enjoy the views at the Fairy Meadows
DAY 6 - FAIRY MEADOWS – ASTORE
Fairy Meadows – Tato: 2 Hours drive
Tato – Raikot Bridge: 1 hours drive
Raikot – Rama: 65kms / 2.5 hours drive
Rama – Astore: 20kms / 1 hour drive
Trek down to Tato & drive to Astore
Day 7 - ASTORE- DEOSAI PLATEAU –SKARDU
Astore- Skardu: 160 kms/7 hours’ drive
Drive to Skardu via Deosai Plateau.
DAY-8 SKARDU
Full day tour of Skardu. Overnight stay in Skardu.
DAY-9 SKARDU-KHAPLU
Skardu – Khaplu: 110 kms/3 hours’ drive
DAY-10 KHAPLU-HUSHE-KHAPLU
Khaplu – Hushe-Khaplu: 120 kms/7 hours’ drive both way
DAY-11 KHAPLU
Rest day in Khaplu- no activities today
DAY-12 KHAPULO-SKARDU-GILGIT
Khaplu – Gilgit: 300 kms/ hours’ drive
DAY-13 KARIMABAD HUNZA
Gilgit-Karimabad Hunza: 106 kms/2.5 hours’ drive.
DAY-14 CENTRAL HUNZA & NAGAR
In the morning visit Hoper Nagar and then Altit & Duiker.
DAY-15 UPPER HUNZA
Karimabad-Atta Abad Lake: 18 kms/25 minutes’ drive.
DAY-16 UPPER HUNZA
Rest day at Atta Abad Lake- no activities today.
DAY-17 UPPER HUNZA – GILGIT-GUPIS
Atta Abad Lake-Gilgit: 135 km/2.30 hrs drive
Gilgit-Gupis: 109 kms/4 hours’ drive
DAY-18 GUPIS-MASTUJ
Gupis – Mastuj: 150 kms/7 hours’ drive
Drive to Mastuj via Phander & Shandur Pass.
DAY-19 MASTUJ – CHITRAL
Mastuj- Chitral: 120 kms/4 hours’ drive
Drive from Mastuj to Chitral. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Half day sightseeing & overnight stay in Chitral.

Rest day in Chitral

Full day for exploring the unique of Kailash Valley and its people. Short walks in the valley.
DAY-23 KAILASH –MINGORA SWAT

DAY-24 SWAT
Rest Day visit the Swat Valley Guild Workshop and have lunch with the locals.

- For Southern cities light weight cool clothing as temperatures will be high 20s mid 30s.
Best time to do this trip
- Middle of August, September & October because best temperatures across all places although down South will still be hot
- I avoid July & August as domestic tourism is at its peak & the North can get congested.
